New Patio Project
So while Patrick and I had a weekend free of commitments, we decided to start a brand new project. Rather than finish projects already started... hahaha! I've been planning on building some sort of patio space underneath the deck. Because it is a muddy and disgusting mess. The prior owners had set gravel down but over the years the dirt took over and it was really just a weed/mud pile.
BEFORE:
So we decided to dig out the area and prep for a patio (not sure why LJ won't let me flip that pic):
Then we went to Lowes and bought a huge load of sand and pavers and started the process:
Then we decided to expand the patio a bit so we went back to Lowes for more sand and pavers. When we got back we added a row of bricks on the right side and one at the bottom before it started to rain on us. That leaves us with about 25 more pavers to set.
Damn, I am sore today!!!!
