Girl Power!

fleshcouldcrawlOk, I really was never much into girl power or female bonding, but in recent years I have discovered that it's actually pretty neat and last night was no different.
Last night I went to April's first solo bellydance performance ever and she was so awesome and beautiful! Our whole Saturday class showed up to cheer her on and there she was glowing in the club lights, her gorgeous red veil blowing in the air conditioning, pregnant belly proudly displayed... just wonderful. I was truly inspired!
Later, Kendra performed (which I didn't know she was going to ahead of time so that made for a late night! ouch - I'm so tired right now!) and as usual she was on fire. She really has an incredible stage presence. She sucked us all in and made us squirm even while blindfolded! Incredible! I can't believe she is our teacher! :)
I wish I had time/funds for more classes...
